ZIg Zag Tag is fun for everyone, a family game (6-80yrs) where you play a game of tag. Grandma loves it! The kids want to play over and over.
Easy to learn and quick to start, the gameboard is modular for 2-6 players. There are two playing modes - Running Tag and Team Tag. Each player has four runners which you play one at a time (Running Tag) or all together (Team Tag). To win you must capture more runners than anyone else.
Playing with the whole family is a great bonding experience, unless "bad grandma" shows up turning the game hyper-competitive.
Playing Zig Zag Tag
On your turn try to tag other players runners, but when it's not your turn you want your runners to be safe. You tag another runner by landing on or jumping them and you get another turn.
To be safe, hide on protected hexes (squares) or you can teleport to another part of the gameboard. You can reclaim any tagged runners by going to the homebase of a player who has captured one of yours. Whatever you do, don't run out of Runners!

How do you win?
On your turn chase other player's runners, tagging as many as quickly as possible to catch them off guard?
Or,
Do you run away to protect your runners?
Maybe you go to another player's base to reclaim one of your captured runners?
Capture a runner and get another die roll, so do you aggressively chase other player's runners, or do you actively protect yours?
Moving your runners to SAFE and HIDE hexes protects them for a turn....
